i downloaded cs3 2 weeks before i downloaded cs3 extended but it seems as there is no difference between cs3 and cs3 extended or maybe some thing else is happening

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!.. when i try to blend a photo.. on one side of it.. and i do the other side.. the first side i tried to blend resets itself and goes back to normal & original :s
