Um, FDR *was* president during a lot of the "Great Depression." He started serving as President in 1933. The Great Depression is 1929-1939 in the United States. Again, wtf are you talking about Elizabeth?

To 247 Aztec - I am very happy that our country has its first black President and I pray that a spirit of kindness and brotherly love will accompany this new leadership as well as permeate our hurting land. I pray for you - that you can know how good it is to feel forgiveness and hope for your life. I was a little shocked at your response to me but I am trusting this isn't the spirit that accompanies our new President. . . hopefully something more classy and kind!
