I would neither support nor dissuade you, I'd just think it was none of my business! :)I have had 4 sections, the 4th one was 8 days ago! I'm sorry if I was a bit snappish with you, but I watched this vid to calm myself before surgery, and it helped to see it presented as a straight forward operation. It is very hard to find anything positive about caesareans on the web, as everything seems to have been hijacked by a rather evangelical vbac movement.

c-sections is GODS mercy for women who really need them (reasons stated in video) and safe natural childbirth is GODS blessing ( no pain no gain )

Interesting video. My mother gave birth to me by C-section.

End result? Healthy baby, healthy mama. Giving birth is not test you must either pass or fail. When I had my son many people made me feel like a failure because I didn't go though natural childbirth. With all the hormones coursing through my body at the time, I cried for days...but now I am older and wiser and realize those self-important jerks should mind their own business.

I just thought this video left out some important information and wanted to add some things to present a more complete picture. It bothers me to see information presented supporting the myth that c-sections are safe and easy when statistics say they're not. If you had all the information available to you and made an informed decision to have a c-section because it was the best option available to you, I totally support your choice, just as I would hope you'd support me if I chose a homebirth. |
