As long as the actual phone itself doesn't break when you drop it's dropped or bumped around, I think I'm going to take the risk and get it.

i've heard and read a lot about the keys cracking. i've had mine since august of this year and i text quite regularly/heavily, and they are still in good shape (not cracked). it might depend from phone to phone.

I really hate this phone. It is really boring after awhile and is terrible for texing. The back is getting scratched from the slide pushing against it. overall terrible phone. IM getting a AT&T quickfire soon so im happy :-)
