I remember watching this live when I was younger, it was the first time I'd ever heard of Derren Brown and I was absolutely terrified for him. I actually didn't watch when he put the gun to his head, after the first one I stuck my head in a cushion lol.

While i do believe that 99% of Derren's stuff is real, I am fairly confident that this one isnt. If it were me instead of that guy, I would have chosen number 3, because I like the number three, and I always pick the number three in situations where I have to pick a number. So, if this were real, he would have assumed that I picked "1" because of his hints, and he'd end up dead. Even with what marekmagyar about him going through 1-6, there are plenty of factors that could influence my tone.
