Watergun. Again, it has to do with poverty and lacking education. Everywhere where the level of e3ducation and the standard of living is improving, religion is fading away. You never see a rise in religiousness in rich and educated populations, only among poor and uneducated

What are the academic standards that should be employed into every school in the world that is going to fully educated people? How should every school educate its students so they dont resort to Creationism?

The Catholic Church actually have their own scientists to keep them up-to-date on stuff, so they haven't just admitted that evolution is a fact, but also that The Big Bang happened and that the universe is 13.7 billion years old. He also admitted that life may exist elsewhere, but if it'sa intelligent, then they will have heard about "Jesus" and "Mary"!!! For sure! He actually said that! :)

"Compare the U.S. academic standards vs. Europes"_There is NO standard here. Every county can decide on what their children learns. If I had a decision in the matter, I would suggest that the government schooling adhere to a national education set of "what is taught" and "how it was taught". and those standards would be set by people in the fields of work, not voters in the country who work at lumber yards making decisions on what is taught in science classes.

"Someone remind me to slap Bush when he's out of office.... "You'll have to get in line, it's long, and stretches from sea to shining sea.
