Yeah, the singer's name was Adele. This was a time when synths were used *musically* with genuine pop creativity: synthesis + storytelling. Dolby was the Croydon visionary who forged such as this electro-cabaret funk. To get an idea of the poverty of talent of contemporary artists, compare with something like the repetetive dirges of 'Basement Jaxx'. |
