It's called catering to the younger generations.

Simple. In the early 1980's, plans were being made for the construction of Tokyo Disneyland. People from that park came to WDW to scout attractions that would go to Tokyo. The Revue made the list, and instead of building a second Revue, they decided to do something cheaper: dismantle the attraction, and ship it. At least the show still plays, but its in Japanese.

That is a great question, kind of like, why did Disney take away all of their classic programs and not make them available on their cable channels for the millions of viewers who love them?

Fantastic footage, I remember this attraction well. There was also some Huey Dewey and Lewys songs. When Captain Eo bang playing at Imagination the theater that once held, "The Mickey Mouse Revue" began showing, "Magic Journeys." This was about the same time Disney World stop requiring tickets for individual attractions.

It was in the location that Philharmagic occupies now.Lion King and Magic Journeys also played in that spot.
